I have nearly two decades of professional experience in live sound engineering, I have also dabbled in video production, stagehand work, and IT. It all began in February 2005 when I started volunteering for churches as an audio production team member. I recognized the privilege in having access to top-notch audio equipment and spent countless hours each weekend learning the ins and outs of various audio positions. From being a mic runner and stagehand to eventually becoming an A1, a live sound engineer, I grew more comfortable in this realm over time.

In 2016, I made the bold decision to venture into entrepreneurship and launched my own audio production company called "SoundGuy." Initially, it was a one-person show, with me as the CEO, occasionally subcontracting my audio engineering mentor for support. At that time, much of my work focused on sound optimization, basic audio installations, and training audio teams within churches. The scope expanded further as I began providing audio production services for concerts, worship services, funerals, and weddings contracted by various churches.

While nurturing SoundGuy's growth, I sought additional opportunities to enrich my production expertise. Consequently, I worked part-time as an Audio Stagehand for prominent production companies, catering to high-profile clients. These gigs involved setting up and breaking down production equipment for corporate events held in prestigious venues across Manhattan, including NBC, The Plaza Hotel, Rockefeller Center, Chelsea Pier, and The Clinton Foundation, among others.

Looking to further diversify my skill set, I embarked on a stagehand role at LIU Post on a freelance basis. Primarily responsible for setting up and breaking down lighting equipment on truss and pipes, I had the privilege of working on various events ranging from touring Broadway shows and concerts to TV productions and small corporate gatherings.

In mid-2019, I decided to embark on a new venture and founded "Howard Productions." Unlike its predecessor, SoundGuy, Howard Productions aimed to offer live audio and video production services not limited to churches but also extended to schools and businesses. This decision proved fruitful as the company enjoyed rapid growth, now boasting a team of exceptional Audio Video Technicians. With the majority of our team members boasting 10+ years of experience in corporate events, cruise ships, touring music groups, and church gatherings, our diverse talents and wealth of experience ensure that we always deliver exceptional results.
